Stun is another neat stat to look for, as it will keep enemies from attacking for a couple of seconds so you can heal up, pop Forcefield, finish 'em off, etc. Go for plenty of DPS (pretty obvious as well) Also some extra elemental damage is always nice. Weapons: for this build your weapon should be 2H (items that fall in this category noted above) you'll also maybe want a socket or two in it for obvious reasons. This is a little side note containing some useful information when deciding on what Armor and Weapons to use. Stats You Want From Your Armor and Weapons

Flame Hammer, which should be your primary (right mouse button) skill, uses a Charge whenever there's one available, so don't worry about having to find a skill that uses Charge. Just make sure you don't do anything before it pops up or else you'll have to wait for it to cooldown to try it again.Īlso for your passive abilities put some points into Bulwark (Construction) and Charge Reconstitution (Aegis)īulwark will increase your Physical armor and also reduce Physical damage taken, and Charge Reconstitution (which I feel is the more important of the two) will heal you every time you use a Charge from your meter. And Forcefield is another "must have up at all times" ability as it sucks up copious amounts of damage for you, and will prevent many deaths, especially during boss fights. Onslaught is akin to the Barbarian's (from Diablo) Leap ability, so it's great for charging into a fight. You need this little guy, he's a real life saver.īy this time the Onslaught (Blitz) and Forcefield (Aegis) abilities should be available to you, make sure you have them. Make sure you're popping Heal Bot everytime you go to a different floor. and Focus here and there just to get the slight benefits from those, Focus is probably more useful considering you'll likely be spamming Flame Hammer as your primary skill which will be a big mana drain. but also try to invest a couple points in Dex. So for levels 11-20 you can be a little more liberal with your skill points, I would still focus on Str.

This isn't a cannon build though so I wouldn't recommend using those with this setup, most of the skills we use will be pointless if you have a cannon. Quick note, in case you weren't quite sure or haven't played the game yet and you're just trying to get a leg up for when you do the 2H weapons in this game are labeled as: greataxe, greathammer, greatsword, polearm, and cannon.

It's still an alright skill but I wouldn't really call it a primary one. I only put one skill point into this ability and I don't use it very often, just on occasion. Skill point wise, put points in leveling your Flame Hammer (Blitz) ability as well as getting the Heal Bot (Construction) skill (this is how we'll maintain health and mana without having to use all your potions in 30 seconds) and you'll also want Heavy Lifting (Blitz) (this skill will increase your two-handed weapon attack speed and give you a chance to stun)Īnother skill I picked (not really necessary but it's somewhat useful sometimes) is Spider Mines (Construction). While Vitality will give you more HP and give you an armor bonus, not quite sure if the block chance increase effects 2H engineers but hey, it's there if it does.

Strength will increase the amount of damage from your weapon and from your critical strikes. To start off, I reccommend spliting your stat points, for these first levels, between Strength and Vitality. The primary focus of this build is to create an all around Engineer, meaning you'll be able to do significant amounts of damage, take plenty of hits and be able to maintain your health and mana without spamming potions.
